whoever created guitar hero was a genius. doesn't everyone (even the lamest of people) want to be a rock star at some point in their life?the game has a strange way of making even the nerdiest of people (read: my husband) feel like they are actually on stage playing a sold-out concert to thousands of screaming fans.
bryan played for about 3 hours last night, the entire time he was standing, sweat running down his chest and back. and after every song, he screamed "thank you houston! good night!" in his best british-rocker-hard-core voice.
funny the first 2 times. just plain annoying the other 324 times.
i'm upstairs getting ready for bed, and he comes up talking about how now he understands why rockers are always sweaty. dude, you pushed buttons on a plastic toy while staring at a tv screen... and you're comparing yourself to an actual rock star? well played mr. guitar-hero-inventor, well played.
but i knew it had gone too far when bryan told me that the next step in his newfound rock stardom, would be shooting up virtual heroin.
apparently the game really does work though... after playing several sets, he banged a groupie. a really hot one.

yeah i's funy seein all these people now playing air guitar. My kids love it and i cannot get to play.
by the way speaking of NERDS. I live in the NY/NJ area and from the late 80's we have had a band called THE NERDS rock every place they have played from the NEW JERSEY shore to Manhattan. I can tell ya the girls go wild for THE NERDS. So keep up the air guitar.
