it's friday... woohoo!
i don't really have anything original to say, but something happened this morning that reminded me of a post i wrote back in 2004.
and if you think i'm talking about you, i probably am.
enjoy.

good friend of mine and myself were recently discussing this disturbing disease and how it affects our society. how does one reach this mental state? is it environmentally achieved, or genetically? can one live a happy and successful life while suffering from the disorder? and how do those around the infected manage to stay sane?
she enlightened me with the following assertion, and i was quite impressed (and amused) with such an educated viewpoint. perhaps she's had more exposure to such behavior, or maybe she's had the opportunity to study the sick in a controlled climate. whatever the case, i thought i would share. we can all learn from this thesis:
sometimes, a tiny little pee pee requires more than you would think to function. i know, i know, you would think a big pee pee would indicate less brain power, but it's actually the opposite. you see, the little there is rattling around in that head of theirs is then greatly reduced by the majority of it being required down south to try to compensate for it's lacking size. see? really, we ought to be a little extra nice to the ailing. their brain power is running full throttle through their lower extremities trying to push them up to normal, or even substandard size. it's not their fault that even the easiest of problems, and things right before their eyes, evade them. the stunted development of their lower extremities have resulted in a larger than normal reduction of brain power because of the compensatory use needed down below.
to those suffering from the debilitating disease otherwise known as 'little man syndrome'... my heart goes out to you.
